What to bring on board
Documents and practical information: don’t forget to bring a valid ID and, if required, your boating licence. If you’re renting a boat without a licence and without a skipper, the Hyperboat team will provide a full pre-departure briefing, so you’ll feel confident and comfortable at the helm from the very start.
Sun protection and comfort: the Mediterranean sun can be intense, especially out at sea. Make sure to bring high-factor sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat. A good beach towel and a change of clothes will also make your day much more comfortable after a swim.
Useful extras: if you enjoy snorkelling, don’t forget your mask and snorkel. The waters around Isola delle Femmine are well worth exploring beneath the surface. We also recommend bringing a waterproof phone case so you can capture every moment safely.
What to avoid for a stress-free experience
Bringing too much luggage: even on modern, spacious boats like those in the Hyperboat fleet, space is best used efficiently. Bring only the essentials and opt for soft bags, which are easier to store than bulky suitcases or rigid backpacks.
Wearing the wrong footwear: barefoot is usually the best option on board. If you prefer to wear shoes, choose non-slip footwear with light-coloured rubber soles to avoid marking the deck and to move around safely.
Forgetting to respect the environment: Palermo’s coastline is a natural treasure. Please avoid leaving any waste behind and respect protected marine areas by following the guidelines provided by our staff.
